BioBreaking tradition, though, I'm continuing to write this one beyond NaNo07. I'd planned on completing first draft back then, and didn't... but I was having too much fun writing it and am going to finish it over 2008. It's one of my New Year's resolutions now.
I finished the first draft just before NaNoWriMo 2008 started. I'm now editing the crap outta this baby.
I changed my 2007 NaNoWriMo novel a day into it because after 5k, I decided I hated it and couldn't go anywhere with it.
Now I'm writing Inferno. And even though it's obviously not 2007 any more, I've decided that I'm finishing it because I kind of got into writing it. So... here goes.
20/10/08: It's done. Finished. Finito. I put the last bits of it up today; it's only a first draft, but it's no longer a work-in-progress in terms of actual storylinage. Dunno what I'll do now: it's less than two weeks 'til NaNoWriMo08... I oughta find something to kill that much time with...

Mal Wilson has just turned eighteen, and he's spent the last six years living with his Fundamentalist Christian grandmother and aunt, following the disappearance of his mother, and the death of his father.
For the past six years, no one has told him much, except to worry about his own soul. And he's tried... he really has.
But Mal's curious, and the nightlife awaits... to bring about his downfall or deeper understanding... depending on who you're talking to.
(Do novels having a bit of a tongue-in-cheek chuckle about scene kids and laughing at Assemblies of God type fundies piss you off? If so, you probably don't want to read this. Likewise if you only like Good Literature.)
